This Brother will need to input his Valley's events, meetings & degrees into said calendar with dates, times and address. This is a very simple process but does take a bit of time, especially for those not comfortable with using computers. My suggestion for each Valley is find some new & energetic Brother to take this task on. Perhaps he can also create a website for the Valley if one does not already exist.
Once the calendar is created, it should be made viewable for the public. Email Rick Powell (email@example.com) with the details and he will link your Valley Calendar with the NY CoD Unified Calendar.
1. Obtain a Google user name or email address if you do not already have one. To do this, navigate to Google.com and click on "Sign in." Click on "Create an account now" and send the requisite information.
2. Sign in with your Google name. Once you click "sign in," the website will direct you back to the Google home page.
3. Click on the "more" link on the top of the Google home page and navigate to "Calendar." A blank calendar will show up with holidays marked by Google.
4. Note important events on the calendar by finding the day and clicking and dragging your mouse from the time the event begins until the time it ends. This officially creates events in the calendar. Fill in identifying information and edit any event details you wish to remember.
